Method 1: Create a hierarchy, such as [[Japanese/か]]. You can link between pages without leaving the journal.
Method 2: Set page properties like tags:: [[Japanese]] on individual pages. You need to open the individual pages, but unlike the hierarchical setting, you can relate to multiple pages.
