Hi there! I have ditched Word-like programs in favour of markdown and a super-useful feature I found in the editor Typora is that automatically checks my clipboard and if there is a link puts them into the parentheses ()
. (As of now, encloses the word(s) selected into []
and inserts ()
, but one has to manually paste the url in the brackets.)
At least, that’s what I guess that happens: I am not sure whether it checks for a link being in the clipboard register. However, most of the time I copy a link and then paste it into Logseq, so I guess no complex regex must be employed to check the content of the clipboard, as most users will copy a link first and then paste it.
What do you think?
