Logseq on iPad freezes everytime I open it

I am running Logseq on my ipad with my database stored in iCloud. My iPad Logseq is the ONLY app I use to interact with the database so as not to cause sync issues. Ever since the latest app update to version 0.8.2 when I start Logseq my new Journal page loads but when I tried to do anything the app does not respond. Closing the app and restarting does not help. Reinstalling the app will help get it running, but only a few times, then it starts to refreeze again. The app is currently useless, which is very bad. Any help in this regard would be most appreciated. Thank you.
