Logseq project status?

@ Hi Danzu, I have two questions. In November, you shared in this thread an overview of the different parts of Logseq and the status of their release: Logseq project status? - #19 by danzu What has changed since then? Can you share a new overview?

I find it unfortunate that the Android version still hasn’t been released on Google Play, even after such a long time. (I know there are other sources like GitHub and F-Droid where you can get the app.) I also know that a lot of work is being put into the other components of Logseq and that you can’t work on everything at once. I believe that having Logseq available in Google’s Play Store could boost its visibility. Greater visibility could also attract new users. Apps for Obsidian and Notion have been available in the Play Store for a long time. What do you think?

Unfortunately, my two questions for Danzu are already 11 days old and remain unanswered. Eight days ago, I sent Danzu a private message via the forum as a reminder. Unfortunately, that message also went unanswered. I understand that decisions and vacations can sometimes take more time.

I would at least like to hear back from Danzu or another project staff member to let me know whether this is being addressed or not.

Check out this small summary for updates over the past month: 🚀 summary of the past weeks in logseqs development

To answer your question, there have been 3 improvements in my opinion: RTC (sync), the CLI and the plugin system are just weeks away from leaving alpha and going into beta! The rest remains mostly the same. Bear in mind most of the work the devs have done since that time has been focused on refactoring and removing old code left behind from the MD version. Once they are done with that, the progress should speed up

Thanks for your reply and for supporting the project! I think Logseq is great software! I know that development is ongoing. I’m glad to hear that the RTC, plugin system, and CLI components will soon be ready for the beta stage. My question about the release on the Play Store is still pending. I have three requests for the Logseq team:

  1. Update the table
I think an up-to-date table or chart would be helpful to show me and other outsiders the current status of component development. Therefore, I would appreciate it if an updated table could be shared again once the next milestones are reached. I’m referring to the table shared in November 2025 titled “Logseq DB Release - Update [[2025-10-30]]).

  2. Regularly update the project roadmap
Is it possible to regularly update the roadmap shared by Ryuki in November 2025 (as needed or every six months)? I know that updating these things takes time. Perhaps the roadmap would suffice if it includes the information from the table.

  3. What do the developers think about releasing the app on the Google Play Store?
I would appreciate feedback from the developers on my thoughts.

The state of the Logseq project is such that the developers have been avoiding making any public statements for years.

Currently most of the talks are in Discord ( Logseq ), including latest statements and updates.

And that doesn’t make sense: Logseq has a website, a blog and a forum. Why hide updates and announcements within a closed, private piece of software? A typical user looks for information about their app on official, public channels. And they find nothing.
