@ Hi Danzu, I have two questions. In November, you shared in this thread an overview of the different parts of Logseq and the status of their release: Logseq project status? - #19 by danzu What has changed since then? Can you share a new overview?
I find it unfortunate that the Android version still hasn’t been released on Google Play, even after such a long time. (I know there are other sources like GitHub and F-Droid where you can get the app.) I also know that a lot of work is being put into the other components of Logseq and that you can’t work on everything at once. I believe that having Logseq available in Google’s Play Store could boost its visibility. Greater visibility could also attract new users. Apps for Obsidian and Notion have been available in the Play Store for a long time. What do you think?
Unfortunately, my two questions for Danzu are already 11 days old and remain unanswered. Eight days ago, I sent Danzu a private message via the forum as a reminder. Unfortunately, that message also went unanswered. I understand that decisions and vacations can sometimes take more time.
I would at least like to hear back from Danzu or another project staff member to let me know whether this is being addressed or not.
To answer your question, there have been 3 improvements in my opinion: RTC (sync), the CLI and the plugin system are just weeks away from leaving alpha and going into beta! The rest remains mostly the same. Bear in mind most of the work the devs have done since that time has been focused on refactoring and removing old code left behind from the MD version. Once they are done with that, the progress should speed up

Thanks for your reply and for supporting the project! I think Logseq is great software! I know that development is ongoing. I’m glad to hear that the RTC, plugin system, and CLI components will soon be ready for the beta stage. My question about the release on the Play Store is still pending. I have three requests for the Logseq team:
Update the table
I think an up-to-date table or chart would be helpful to show me and other outsiders the current status of component development. Therefore, I would appreciate it if an updated table could be shared again once the next milestones are reached. I’m referring to the table shared in November 2025 titled “Logseq DB Release - Update [[2025-10-30]]).
Regularly update the project roadmap
Is it possible to regularly update the roadmap shared by Ryuki in November 2025 (as needed or every six months)? I know that updating these things takes time. Perhaps the roadmap would suffice if it includes the information from the table.
What do the developers think about releasing the app on the Google Play Store?
I would appreciate feedback from the developers on my thoughts.
And that doesn’t make sense: Logseq has a website, a blog and a forum. Why hide updates and announcements within a closed, private piece of software? A typical user looks for information about their app on official, public channels. And they find nothing.
Thank you for your feedback, Carlo, and I agree with you that communication with users (like us) is unfortunately lacking. This is Logseq’s official forum, and I expect to find basic information relevant to all users here, not on one of the Discord server’s channels.
I appreciate that Danzu and Ryuki have shared information in this discussion thread over the past few months. I simply hope this continues. Are Danzu and Ryuki still in charge? Are they on vacation or unavailable? Or are there other people in charge? I would find it strange if I had to contact or search for the people in charge via Discord channels.
First, I’m sending a message to Tienson Qin via the forum and hope he reads this post.
There are some users testing the Android app: Feel free to join them Discord
In the past few months, the focus has been on improving synchronization across devices, which has matured considerably. There should be more sync invites soon, based on the observed feedback.
The team even added a self-sync option. Feel free to join the testing Discord
That was a very brief response to my questions 1) and 2) after many days. The answer only came after I contacted Tienson Qin personally. I find the response unsatisfactory, and it raises new questions.
When is the new roadmap supposed to be ready?
When will the roadmap be published?
The Android app has been in development and testing for a long time. I think it’s good that this is continuing. I don’t want to participate in the testing. I would like an answer to my 3) question regarding the release on the Play Store. Or is there someone else on the team who can answer?
The Android dev was paused for a few months in favor of the sync work. It should resume soon, now that some major sync milestones got delivered last week.
Next, I don’t have context about your exchange with Tienson.
The roadmap publishing depended on the sync work mentioned above. So, we should see it soon.
The team hasn’t set a date, so I don’t have one for you.
Thank you. I’ve also seen a prerelease of the v2 series two days ago. Congratulations!
In the linked document, at the bottom, the link to Two-way sync between Markdown and db graph leads to a page that says “Page not published - This page hasn’t been published yet.“.
