Ideally it should. But OneDrive / GDrive / iCloud are messing the FS event firing / file conflict resolution on some OS in our observation. It’s not an issue specific to Logseq Sync, but might due to the frequent small-file IO
It’s not rare that iCloud would generate duplicated files

It’s not a Logseq specific issue according to reports like:
Also, there are reports that iCloud doesn’t notify apps on file updated. It’s not limited to Logseq. A common solution maybe clicking the “refresh” button in the dropdown list, or restarting the Logseq app.
May be related to iCloud’s stability and conflict resolution for small files. Logseq relies on file-based storage for notes, which requires per-file sync with iC…

I use google Drive to sync my graph between my phone Android and my Windows PC (… i use the official app for Windows and a 3rd party app called Autosync for Android), also i was reading in the forums that solutions like these are the recomended to use (instead of git maybe?), but he other day after doing sync on my phone to use logseq in it, i realize the most of the content of my journal pages dissapeared. The pages were still there but the content and relationships with other notes wasn't (Only the content was erased).
Unafortunately i don't have a way to reproduce this, i don't know even what kind of conflict could rise this kind of event.
I'm hopping to know if somebody has experienced this kind of problem before, and if you guys recommed me to use a control version system from now on, or what could be the best way to do automatically backups from my graph? I'm not a developer and I think adding such tool maybe could add kind of friction to my workflow
I was using both Android and Windows Logseq 0.7.6

### What Ha… ppened?
After I renamed the graph and I unlinked and reopened the graph, some journals and notes disappeared, and seemingly all data from a certain day onwards disappeared (Lost more than half a year of notes). The computer did not roll back to the system restore point, and the data of other graphs was not lost during this period. I found nothing in the `.recycle` folder, and the system recycle bin has no related content. Most of the todos in the graph have change to unfinished. It is useless to rebuild the index many times after that, and the data on the disk during this period is gone. Unfortunately, I have no backup. These notes may never be retrieved. This graph has been useless for two weeks, but there was no problem when it was opened two weeks ago, it should not be accidentally deleted by me, because the data loss is after a certain date. At first I just wanted to change the graph's name. I'd love to know what caused it 😣I have been using logseq for almost a year and a half.
### Reproduce the Bug
1. Open the map's location in the folder
2. Rename graph
3. Return logseq and unlink this graph
4. Open the renamed graph
5. Lost data...
