Roam has this: replace a block reference with text and alias, and several other options (just text, just an alias (really a link), and swap the original and the reference). These are good features to have!

Replace with text and Replace with embed have now been implemented, but Replace with alias is missing (if Logseq is to follow Roam’s lead in this).

Hi, how the replace with text and replace with embed works? Using [text](((block reference)))?

The swapblocks plugin supports swapping the original and a reference: GitHub - hkgnp/logseq-swapblocks-plugin
