A new plugin to sync Wallabag (open source read-it-later app) with Logseq

tl;dr: here I develop a plugin to sync Wallabag to Logseq

I used Omnivore as my read-it-later app, but because they shut down, I migrated to Wallabag. Omnivore had a pretty nice sync to Logseq, and I was missing this with Wallabag.

Hence, I started working on this plugin that can now sync articles from Wallabag to Logseq. It’s rather an MVP, but I hope this post will make it easier for others to help me out to bring this up to a production ready code. I have been using it just fine, as the default functionality is there (sync articles, highlights, content).

@capybara Could you make a video on how to install it?

Not everybody is so familiar with Windows Terminal, etc…

I’ve asked Claude Sonnet 3.5 and after 30min installing things such as node.js, etc, etc… I’ve been able to install it on Logseq.

Now I don’t know how to proceed with this step:

Hi, thanks for building this, it’s badly needed. I’ve been able to build in linux and windows, with the help of cursor, but it syncs only the titels, no content and wrong URL is it working properly for you? any setting hint you’s mind sharing?

thanks for building the plugin. try it and it works well with my selfhost wallabag. kudoss
