Android: no beta release of APK in a long time? `0.10.9` was the last

tl;dr still supposed to download Beta APK via github releases page? if so, is a new release needed? or development stopped on the 0.1.z branch?

Hey I’m just double-checking that I’m not missing something obvious (like looking in an old/outdated spot for my APKs). It used to be that the recommended way to use logseq on android was to download the APK via the “download” link in the readme, which sent you to the /releases tab in github, which was usually the “beta” release that was cut pretty frequently.

However, now I’m seeing there hasn’t been a cut in a long time, not since April 2024: https://github.com/logseq/logseq/releases/tag/0.10.9

Anyone know what’s happening here?

Wondering the same.

Just checked and blog haven’t been updated since last fall and there hasn’t been a release since April. (The X account hasn’t been updated since 2022 either but this is more understandable given the state of X.)

  • 0.10.9 is the latest version
  • development is currently focused on the feat/db branch

wow logseq’s gone so long without basic maintenance that it’s been removed from the largest package repo in the world (nixos)

whoops, sorry I meant to comment in my other non-Android specific thread

Debs said they dont plan to release any mobile version anytime soon. We’ll probably be getting the beta DB version around december and no one knows when we’ll be seeing a mobile release

Where are you getting this information from? Because no one working on Logseq has ever mentioned a date.

And the mobile app will be tackled soon. But again, we don’t know a timeframe because first we need to tackle some other things that are a requirement if we want to create a faster and more stable mobile app.
