Annotate external Zotero pdfs without copying to asset folder

I know it is possible to annotate external pdf directly (e.g. with logseq-localassets-plugin). However, with Logseq’s native Zotero integration, when calling /zotero, the attached pdf files of the selected entry is copied to asset folder. I wonder if it possible to only store the absolute path to that pdf file without copying to Logseq’s asset folder, cause I don’t like duplicating the same pdf everywhere.
