The idea is to have another option for query results other than lists and tables: a calendar view. For blocks or pages that have dates or date-metadata associated with them (either as block properties, page properties, or task deadlines, etc.) there would be an option to display the query results in a calendar view. This would allow updatable calendars to be embedded in pages.
