Can’t make TODO subtasks

The LogSeq beginner video you referred (really good video) me to showed a trick for entering subtasks under the TODO.

After the TODO line he did a shift/enter for the next line
Then he entered *[space] the subtask title then enter/enter to close the command.

I can’t get it to work on my ipad or my MacBook Pro.

Any ideas?

Adding a space after ‘*’ did the job for me. (*space[space]).
