At the moment, in my mind, notes are only hyperlinked ie. the link type is a navigation tool.
Real knowledge arises when we piece together information within a conceptual framework or model, and relate those information “nuggets” conceptually ie. with another type of relationship link, other than a “mention” on a page.
This would create a knowledge map, that could go beyond being 2-dimensional graph database to a heirarchical 3D or X-dimensional knowledge geometry.
Obsidian has the Juggl plug-in as a starting point. See also Cmap Tools. The problem with Cmap Tools is that their nodes are not notes and don’t link to the rest of the web!
