I am a casual user. I updated to version 0.3.9. I use the same folder for Obsidian. in Obsidian I started typing in a document and started getting ephemeral pop-up windows: “… has been modified externally, merging changes automatically”. also, the last couple words of what I was writing started to disappear. then the entire content of the document disappeared. that markdown file now has no content.
tho I don’t know what the term means, I disabled git auto commit and that seemed to solve the problem
