I was a happy user of LogSeq but recently I noticed some strange behaviour. I entered data on my daily page earlier this week (Monday). However opening on Tuesday the new daily page of Tuesday showed at first an empty page, which is as expected. But after a couple of minutes the content of the Monday page appeared in the Tuesday page. I removed it and copied it back to the Monday page (because this was empty …). Shortly thereafter it re-appeared on the Tuesday page leaving the Monday page empty again.
So on Wednesday, the content of the Monday page appeared when openeing the Wednesday page. Now the Monday page was empty, and the Tuesday page was empty.
It looks if the text is following to every new daily page opened.
How to get rid of this behaviour ?
Is there some setting/cache to be changed or resetted ?
I’m on the lestest official version (0.10.9).
The behavior is indeed strange because this version worked flawless from the moment it was released, which is already quite some time ago. Also the plugins are still the same and did, over the past months, not cause any problems. The number of updates of the plugins are minimal since the latest release (I think people are waiting for the new DB version).
The only action which I relate to this behavior could be a cut block command which I used to copy part of the block to another MD page. This worked ok, so should not cause any problems after the move of the block.
synchronisation is done via Synology Drive client, with a local folder in which the all the vault files are stored. This is synchronised with my home server. I’m aware of sync problems when using dropbox or MS OneDrive (had the problem on my professional laptop) but did not see that type of problem on my local setup with my personal NAS server. Also the problems encountered with MS Drive were different (loosing complete pages from the journal folder resulting in empty pages, not moving-text-block)
The plugins I use are listed in the attached overview.
