to create a code block you need to add the code on separate lines. What are you doing here is in-line code.

Here is an example

is seems i could not " add the code on separate lines",each time i press enter, it just jump to the end of code block. but click the code block and edit code inside did work.

The Enter key is used to create a new block. That’s why it’s skipping your codeblock. To add a new line use Shift+Enter.

I would recommend reading the documentation starting with “Getting started”
