Example use case where this is annoying
- On a random page, make an link to a page that doesn’t exist, and that you don’t want, say
[[Page with annoying name]] - Later, visit that page (empty), and see the block with the link in it in the
Linked Referencessection - Edit the block to remove the link, delete the
]] - The Linked References section updates, and the block disappears
- Now you have a block somewhere that has a broken link format, but you can’t find it, because you don’t remember what page it was on.
This can also happen if you’re modifying the text of a link to a dead page, which can make it hard to search for. I think it can also happen with the Unlinked References blocks.
Would be great if these sections did NOT update while the editor was in use.
