Hello, I have been using LS for years now, and I really enjoy it. I primarily use it for my Zettelkasten. That being said, when I take multiple notes on the same day and topic, I pretty much have the same header on my new note, bar a few attribute changes. I usually copy and paste from the previous note to the new note with the split pane feature, but it would be nice if I could duplicate the current page directly from the page menu, and then make updates on the new copy.
There is a duplicate functionality in Notion which I use all the time for my fitness tracker.
Thanks,
Corey
Hello, I full agree with Corey.
one page (or better several) should work as a template.
the workflow could be this one :
- create a page that should become a template
- associate a shortcut if possible
- from any other page, insert the template using the menu or a shortcut
OK, so the template stuff does exist
cf https://docs.logseq.com/#/page/templates
sorry but Iām new here.
The help menu is only visible if you expand the side window
what about adding a ā?ā entry in the menu ?
