Enable native file system API in Brave (for Logseq DB Backup)

I couldn’t find this information when searching, so I’m sharing it here.

LogseqDB loads in the browser, and has the ability to create hourly backups, but if you are using Brave Browser this feature (accessed via the export screen) is disabled.

To enable it, go to brave://flags/ and search for native file system API.

After enabling it, restart Brave, and re-load the export screen in logseq. You will now be able to set up regular backups.

Are you referring to File System Access API? Not only it is disabled in some browsers like Brave, it is not implemented anywhere outside the Chromium ecosystem. And it is unlikely that this will happen with this API in its current form.

It is not especially smart to provide features based on unstandardized APIs.
