It would be great if we can able to sync with gitlab.com (cloud), selfhosted can be a second priority

Logseq will deprecate the GitHub integration and there will be a proprietary new syncing mechanism. It will be the only official sync method. You can still use git (GitHub/GitLab) to host your files, but it won’t be built in.
