I’m Vincent (or Vin) and am a LogSeq user for about 1 year now. I have just started a PhD and use LogSeq for my primary note taking app. I am using a dualboot between Ubuntu and Windows, primarily working on Ubuntu. For me lightweight, low latency software that integrates well cross platform and has sync options without requiring constant internet connection were crucial factors in selecting LogSeq. All other platforms I have tried fall short of LogSeq in one way or another.
I use LogSeq for journaling, taking notes on and referencing literature (linked with Zotero) and organizing my thoughts on anything else.
I’m using git to sync LogSeq between my phone and computer operating systems and am in general very happy with that setup.
