I also would love a similar feature. Either hiding or merging aliases with the original page.
It clutters te graph and makes reading it difficult. It also adds to confusion.
I have implemented a fix for this in PR #11760.
Unfortunately, the development activity on this project looks to be painfully slow the last couple of months, so not sure when the maintainer will get a chance to give a review, much less how long before the feature is delivered.

As to why development looks slower: all focus is on this branch right now, which the devs are working on to merge back into main:
I’m a new user to Logseq, loving it so far! Unfortunately, this is the biggest issue I have with it, it makes the graph view pretty much unusable for me … I really hope this gets added soon!

Hiding empty pages in general would also be nice.

If Aliases really have to generate a new page in their own right then having a toggle in the graph view control is the best way. This would also apply to the ‘All pages’ view.
excluding empty pages doesn’t work for me because there a re cases where you create an empty page as a reminder to supply data.
For me this is significant enough to consider abandoning using aliases to preserve graph view clarity

This is a really important feature imo. Its absence almost feels like a bug at this point.
I like being able to add aliases to my pages, but having all those aliases show up in the graph makes it completely unreadable.
Just tried aliases for the first time, and thought I’d done something wrong when I saw the graph! I’m new to the Logseq game and would love to hear if there are any arguments for showing aliases as if they were separate pages in the graph!
Aliases felt like a really useful idea when I read about them, but if they contribute to cluttering the graph view then that seems like it reduces their utility. I’d love a way to hide the ones I’ve created so far.

Bump! The first real issue that i’ve encountered with Logseq, otherwise i’m loving it.
