How do I split up a large page of blocks into new pages?

Tried to summarize in one sentence in the title, let me get a little deeper.
I’m not happy with my old layout of taking class notes, I put them all on one huge page and now its a pain to navigate. I’m fairly new to this software still and I’ve been trying to figure out how to take each block of notes and turn it into its own page, and then nest those pages under a larger page per class. I tried to use the block-to-page plugin, but its not just not working, I don’t even have the “turn into page” option in the context menu? I’m confused.

Welcome to Logseq and the community @overgrownmoon!

Normally I’d recommend you use the Block to Page plugin, but it indeed does not seem to work anymore (probably because some things changed under the hood in Logseq and the plugin hasn’t been updated in 2years).

How I do things is rather manual: I create a page, open it in the right sidebar (Shift + Click on the page name) and then just drag blocks and branches onto the page. That’s fast enough for me personally.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Oh, I had no idea that I could drag n drop blocks like that! Ive been trying to cut and paste and was getting a lot of formatting issues. Thank you!
