Gnarled veteran, terminally online. Still nursing scars from the Great Stranger in a Strange Land flame war of 1995. I don’t use a laptop much because it doesn’t fit into my pocket, so efficient data capture on the go is important to me. Happiness is a warm android.
My other computer is a Faber Castell 8/10 circular.
I’ve also been at it for a long time. My first computer was an Exidy sorcerer with 8K Basic, then I progressed up through CP/M, MP/M, TurboDOS etc. to a Mac desktop and Android phone where I am today.
I love Logseq and chatGPT, both of which are always open in their own windows, and both synchronize nicely between the mobile and the desktop. Both great tools for academic research.
