How to create page with properties? Page templates?

I wish to use queries very much, especially now that I’ve realized that w/o them I cannot build a working system: there is no Inbox, so I have to emulate it using queries.

However, even after reading a tutorial on Datomic and Datalog, it’s difficult to start using what I’ve learned in Logseq. I also ask chatGPT but it helps rarely.

Queries have a steep learning curve and I am still pretty bad at them. To me, it is one of the strongest and weakest points of Logseq, and I often wish they were easier to understand and use. Thankfully, I find that I can usually minorly edit and repurpose something that has already been built and shared in the forum.

A couple of personal highlights from the forum:

• @adxsoft has created some tools that make query generation easier: Query Building Tools - Customization / Look what I built - Logseq. The advanced query builder at Logseq Query Builder (adxsoft.github.io) is oftentimes a good start and if you check Include Query Comments they are well documented.

From documentation :

I just tried to query pages with a specific tag but it didn’t work. I used a query from the official docs but there seem to be no property with name :block/tags (as well as other properties, specified in the first block).
