IOS Annotations of PDF

Howdy,

  • have searched
  • have put pdf in assists folder
  • which is in iCloud/logseq

however, as I can’t get the pdf to pop up and annotate like one can on the Mac:

  • I’m guessing we are still waiting for the feature
  • what app does let one annotate / use stylus / be as useful as Logseq with the annotates
  • will have a google to see what I can find

Thanks

Currently it’s only available on the Desktop version.

@hkgnp Windows OS too?

Window is a desktop OS @daviddelven.

Logseq’s PDF reader/annotator only works on the desktop app (meaning Windows, Linux, macOS).

This is one of the most popular questions about the mobile app (whether it’ll support the PDF reader, plugins, themes, etc.). Unfortunately, there’s no mobile developer contributing to the project at the moment, so there’s not much happening on the mobile front. We’d need someone with some serious mobile UI/UX experience on the team to improve the iOS and Android apps.

Wow, I find myself back here, some 8 months later - finally looking for a solution.
As Logseq doesn’t offer it, is it okay to ask people what apps they use instead?

My initial goal is to read all the DaVinci Resolve manual - making notes of important things from the 5000 odd pages.

Thanks

I have used Foxit to highlight and annotate, though it’s a little clunky.

As I’m usually reading pdfs on an iPad, what I do is have Logseq slid over to the right, then highlight and copy out of foxit and paste into Logseq as I go. It’s nowhere near as good an experience as Logseq on the desktop, but then again I don’t much like reading long PDFs on a laptop screen.

If I’m feeling really keen, after I’ve finished a PDF I’ll open it in Logseq desktop, go through each of my copy/pasted highlights and highlight them in Logseq.
