Is it good practice to put new lines in indented blocks instead of in the same block?

Hi All, I’d like to know for Logseq, is it a good practice to put every line as a block, and use the indent block to structure the overall content. I understand that it’s also feasible to create a new line in a block, but that’s not as straightforward as indent block. What do you think? Will I encounter issues if creating too many indent blocks in a single page? Thank you!

Welcome. Logseq is a block-based outliner, thus it encourages putting lines in separate blocks. Each block should ideally be atomic, i.e. containing a single cohesive piece of information. This doesn’t exclude big blocks of multiple lines, but makes them rare (for example if needing to paste some text verbatim).

Got it, thank you so much!
