Line break in code block removed when copying and pasting between blocks

in logseq 0.1.9 (desktop version, windows x64): tried copying and pasting a block that includes code with a line break in it. in the pasted block the line break is removed and replaced with a - followed by a space.

Hello. Thank you for the post and for being a part of Logseq.

The way round this is to use ctrl + Shift + v when pasting - this will maintain the code block format.
