logseq table support is very very weak, the basic <br> tag is not supported, that’s so strange, the mainstream markdown editor mostly support. beyond that, most note soft support the features as follows:
1、generate table handily
2、add rows and columns handily
3、merge table cells handily
4、support color handily
5、can stretch the width handily
6、if can embed code block that’s will be perfectly

The existing table editor plugin helps improve the user experience for basic table editing but it doesn’t address any of the asks. Particularly the lack of support for cell merge, or basic per-cell alignment, font and background colors etc.
For some reason there doesn’t seem to be much traction on this department. I’d agree that logseq really deserves and needs better markdown table support.
