Some plugins like awesome links use the page-type property to get the icon of the page type, in case you haven’t defined one
E.g: If you have a page called El Quijote with a property
page-type:: [[Book]], it will inherit theicon::of the page Book.
I think there are more plugins that use the page-type property, but it isn’t really included in Logseq.
It would be nice if creating a new page with page type A would populate a set of properties. That way, every page with type A would have the same properties.
E.g: Following the example from before, you should be able to enforce every page of type Book to have the
Author::andisbn::properties
Another thing that could be added would be type inheritance, among other things
