Logseq won't load after latest update

I relaunched logseq this morning to install the latest update, but now Logseq hangs and won’t reload. The opening journal page displays but then Logseq hangs, unresponsive to any keyboard strokes.

Not sure what to do. Any help would be appreciated!

  • You may be able to get a clue by looking at the console with Ctrl + Shift + i
  • Try moving the folder of your graph in another place, to see if Logseq can open without it.
    • If you suspect specific pages, you may move only those.
      • If that works:
        • re-index your graph
        • try bringing the specific pages in doses, to see which one causes the hang
          • use another editor to keep track of what is moved
  • If the above don’t work, uninstall and re-install Logseq:
    • without the moved graph
    • without any plugins
  • If the above:
    • work: continue with the steps above to get closer to the cause
    • don’t work: try everything on another device
      • if you can reproduce the issue there:
        • file a bug
        • use an older version until the bug is fixed

Thank you for your help! I eventually had to uninstall Logseq, delete any references to it in system files, and move my graph to a new folder. Once I had done these things, I reinstalled Logseq successfully.
