I use whiteboards to create timelines. Everything has to line up exactly. As it stands, it works pretty well for this application. The main difficulty is rearranging material with precision. Moving things around with drag and drop is quite time consuming and requires me to constantly check that I have kept things lined up correctly. The ability to move objects on the white board with keyboard commands such as shift + arrow key would make it much easier to put things exactly where I want them without risk of misaligning them vertically or horizontally.
