I love how notion allows you to attach an emoji to a specific page, and that takes the place of the page icon:
This has been discussed for Roam too, but the conclusion is that you can just add an emoji to the page title to achieve the same result.
Hmm I think the notion ui around page emojis makes it much more accessible and the replacement of the page icon elsewhere in the app makes for a little different of ui than adding it to the front of a title. In the latter case you would just get the page icon along with the emoji which is super bloated if used in any menu or reference
