I’ve taken a break from logseq for about year because i was having too many buffering problems and I think my system was a bit too messy and inefficient.. now i’ve decided to give it another go because i think it has a lot of potential to be useful for my scattered adhd brain! however, i’m running into a lot of irritating issues that are starting to discourage me again.. and i think these might be systematic issues, rather than my mistakes.
I’m currently trying to reorganize my people page logic. I had previously created hierarchies within the peoples pages (eg. [[people/family/emi badics]] same with artists eg. [[artists/fibers/Alice Fox]] .. but i realised this is very inefficient and only causes confusion down the line, so I went back and renamed them one by one, adding property tags to organize them instead. I finally got through them all and took a big sigh of relief.. BUT THEN i realised that the original hierarchical pages still existed as separate pages! in some cases I noticed that the page mentions were not updated after the page rename.. then I tried deleting those extra pages manually, but after rebooting the app, they reappeared!
am I doing something wrong? or is this a system glitch?
how can i fix it?
