Authentication is required in order for the correct profile to be registered by the server. Without that, the highlights entered do not show up. Highlighting is profile specific.
Yes, indeed, as highlights made when login not required will not be registered to an individual user database. I just want to confirm if you could import books when login is disabled.
If you could do it in that case, then fill in Username and Password as configured in Calibre and would be able to import book and sync annotation from your profile.
It now works. I needed to provide a username and password. Once done, all the books appeared. Thanks for the help.
