Preferred date format issue

I set my preferred my date format to: yyyy-MM-dd but when I check the journal folder it shows as, i.e., 2022_06_25.

Note: This journal page sits on the same folder I use in my Obsidian and I made sure they have the same date format.

What could be the issue that this could happen?

I have the same issue. It seems we have to change the Daily Note date format within Obsidian for YYYY_MM_DD.

Ultimately I ended up with this workflow Rename system folders / Obsidian compatibility - #13 by daviddelven
