I had an idea for improving search in Logseq.
Instead of showing only a list of search results in a popup, the search window could become a two-panel layout:
- left side → search results
- right side → live preview of the currently selected result
The preview would update while navigating results with the keyboard (↑ ↓), without opening the page/block.
This could make searching much faster in large graphs by reducing:
- open/back/open cycles
- context switching
- unnecessary navigation
The preview could show:
- matched block
- parent hierarchy
- children
- references / linked references
I think this would fit Logseq’s block-based workflow especially for keyboard-heavy users.
