I find myself occasionally in need of searching for a word I just typed or, when revisiting something, to see where else I have mentioned it. Normally, these words or terms shouldn’t be on a separate page, so there’s no need to create a page and check the references.
To perform this search, I have to press ctrl + k and type what I want to search, or select the text, press ctrl + c, ctrl + k, and ctrl + v.
I would be happy if, with a text selected, I could press ctrl + k to search the selected text immediately. Alternatively, this could also be achieved with a hover-type functionality that searches the selected text.
