Separate page title from file name

TL;DR: Make it possible to have pages with titles different from their file name.

Hi, great people!

It might be just me, but it might not, so here it is:

I like having things named properly, with title case, space, punctuation, and why not emojis for comic relief sometimes :wink:. There is one exception though, when it comes to files and directories, I have a strong preference, it must be snake-case and kebab-case only, no uppercase, no space, nothing fun or fancy.

If there are more people who feel this way, it would be helpful to make it possible to have pages with titles different from their file name.

I’m no expert at all, but I think the ‘title:’ property is what you seek for… Isn’t it?

Thanks, @HumanistAtypik, but not really. When you change the property title, Logseq renames the file to match it.
