Show size of referenced page next to every reference

Hey guys,

I am looking for a plugin that would, next to every reference (eg [[my-reference]]) display the approximate size of the page. It could be as a (recursive) sum of all the blocks, or the line count, or the byte size, but just something that would help me to estimate the size of the link, w/o having to click on it. Before I dive into the Api, does anyone know if it is powerful enough to allow that, or maybe give me some tips (or has anybody already done this:-))?

I wondered about the same lately. Have you found a way to do that?

If you are willing to use a macro, I could prepare one.

I’ve looked at most plugins and I don’t think it exists. Since it is possible, I will try to realize it as a plugin.
