So how are you guys going about using headers?

I’m still wrapping my head around the convention of markdown and the benefits it bestows using Logseq. I’m comfortable with the parent - child relationship between indented and non-indented bullet points. For example, if I create a backlink to a parent, then click on it, the children show up too. That being said, I’m curious how do you guys functionally include headers? that is how do you guys use headers? And how does headers and subheaders relate? Are they parent- child like bulleted vs non bulleted? I’m trying to figure out how to incorporate them into my setup. Thank you in advance!!

I’m very much a fan of the Auto header because it gets around this conundrum for me.

In me head it’s incongruous to use headers and sub headers and not have the subheaders nested underneath.

I try to use them for major points and assume that any bullet without a header tag of some kind is a minor point.

Like in an outline for a presentation I might the main topics and then the subtopics underneath all indented one level. And then each subtopic might have it’s own subsubtopucs etc.

So yeah. For me I just use the auto headers. I’m not sure how you could implement manual headers in an outline style system like Logseq.
I’m happy to be shown otherwise though :grin:
