Support English spelling variants for property names

As someone who writes British English, it’s always bothersome to have to spell words differently in a block’s properties, e.g. color:: instead of colour::. It’s understandable when you’re in someone else’s codebase and a decision has been made to use color over colour, but as a user of a software, it would be nice if English spelling variants were supported for property names.

Some users may write in their native language, e.g. French, and if they’ve learned British English (common in Europe), then it requires recalling a third spelling to ensure colour is spelt as color when setting the property (and not couleur).

It seems reasonable to support these small differences so users can stick to the English that they’ve learned. As for complete translations of all property names into languages other than English, that seems a step too far.

Thanks.
