Sync is too confusing...(for me)

There’s gotta be another way, right? I’m using logseq sync and when I add Logseq to a new machine, or worse a new iOS device, getting my notes onto the new device is so confusing and scary because the verbiage being used implies things will be deleted, which is terrifying because it’s a clean install so the only thing in my mind that could be deleted is the cloud version.

Is there a way to work with someone on the sync team to point out all the inconsistencies, confusing language and confusion just trying to get my notes on a new device? Feels like it’s should be a relatively easy fix.
