Testing the DB Version

Can I ask how people are testing the new DB Version? I’d love to help out testing but I’m worried about data corruption.

Obviously most of us have a ‘daily’ graph we’re using but when I installed the DB version it reads the settings I’ve got on my standard version so connected to my ‘daily’ graph. As it’s in Alpha that’s a bit of a risk right?

It does leave both programs distinct so I can swap between.

What do you guys do? Do you simply run it and select a test graph for the DB version? Or do you have some way to install it ‘isolated’

I’m running Windows 11.

 You can test via test.logseq.com.
Create a new graph and play with it.
You can also import a MD graph to create a new DB graph to see how your existing data looks in the DB mode.
If you run into issues or have some feedback, please share.

Ah ok. That’s actually pretty straightforward :man_facepalming:t4:.

I’ll get on and get things testing! Thanks so much for getting back to me.

Just had a thought. What’s your preferred method for feedback/bug reports. I know there’s stuff on Discord, some stuff here, and bug reports on github. What easiest for you. Whatever makes your workload easier .
