A frequent workflow is to click on the scheduled date of an already scheduled task or block, and set it today (example: when I didn’t complete a task scheduled for yesterday, and want to move it to today).
There are many other cases where picking today’s date from the date picker is a frequent operation.
The date picker currently has no way to do this. This feature request is to:
