Tracking / queries for work from office days - ideas?


I’m somewhat new to Loqseq, I’d like to use it to note which days I’m working in the office, I’d also like to easily be able to note when my team members are unable to make it in (i.e. are unwell, at a conference, etc.)

My intial thoughts were to use a template and capture the main details (person, date, reason, etc), then build a query to output a able (ideally by month).
I’m sure other people have needed to do this, so I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas how best to approach this which I may not have considered?
If I was to go with the template and query to table method are there any examples I could customise?
