Turn text into page

What if I read my note, and decided that this word or sentence should be a page,
then I block the text and then press some shortcut to convert it to a page.

If you mean a reference to a new page you can select the text and then press [[ (two times [)

And what if I want to turn all instances of that word in my database into the same page link?

I guess you need to use a text editor that support find&replace for multiple files at once (like KDE Kate for instance) and replace word with [[word]].

Thanks for the advice, Alex. I remain unsure if the learning curve is worth the outcome. Would be a nice native feature.
