UI Regression — White Title Bar Appears in 0.10.14 Even With Native Title Bar Disabled

Hello Logseq team,

I hope you’re doing well. I’m writing because after updating to version 0.10.14, I noticed a UI regression involving the top bar / title bar.

Yesterday, Logseq displayed a compact top bar with no empty space above the tabs. It looked very clean and spacious — the tabs were positioned directly beneath the top bar. Today, after reinstalling the newest version, the UI changed and now shows a white Windows title bar (empty padding) above the tab row, even though I have:

  • Native title bar: OFF

  • Using the latest release (0.10.14) from the official site

  • Tested both the stable and pre-release builds

The white bar was not present in the build I used yesterday, so it seems like a layout flag or UI experiment was active and then removed or reverted. I would really appreciate if you could clarify:

  1. Is the compact top bar intentionally removed in 0.10.14 stable?

  2. Is the compact UI only available in certain builds (e.g., Insider)?

  3. Can the compact top bar be manually enabled through config.edn or feature flags?

  4. Is this an expected behavior for Windows users, or a regression?

The compact UI from yesterday was perfect for my workflow — extremely clean and space-efficient — and I would love to know how to enable it again.

Thank you so much for your time and for the work you’re doing on Logseq.
