Hello Logseq team,
I hope you’re doing well. I’m writing because after updating to version 0.10.14, I noticed a UI regression involving the top bar / title bar.
Yesterday, Logseq displayed a compact top bar with no empty space above the tabs. It looked very clean and spacious — the tabs were positioned directly beneath the top bar. Today, after reinstalling the newest version, the UI changed and now shows a white Windows title bar (empty padding) above the tab row, even though I have:
-
Native title bar: OFF
-
Using the latest release (0.10.14) from the official site
-
Tested both the stable and pre-release builds
The white bar was not present in the build I used yesterday, so it seems like a layout flag or UI experiment was active and then removed or reverted. I would really appreciate if you could clarify:
-
Is the compact top bar intentionally removed in 0.10.14 stable?
-
Is the compact UI only available in certain builds (e.g., Insider)?
-
Can the compact top bar be manually enabled through config.edn or feature flags?
-
Is this an expected behavior for Windows users, or a regression?
The compact UI from yesterday was perfect for my workflow — extremely clean and space-efficient — and I would love to know how to enable it again.
Thank you so much for your time and for the work you’re doing on Logseq.
