Unable to Choose a Folder

I just installed a fresh install of Logseq on my Macbook Pro.
When i opened it, i get the welcome page as the default page and on their it says i have to Open an existing directory or create a new one.

I tried Clicking on the folder to open an existing folder but nothing happens (the mouse cursor just shows busy). What i am i doing wrong?

Mostlikely it’s due to missing Privacy & Security settings for Logseq.
In macos, you can navigate to System Settings… => Privacy & Security => Add or Toggle to allow Logseq access files/folders on disk.
