An optional warning that would warn the user prior to breaking a block reference by deletion of a block (or something else that may break the reference, like moving the block to another line).
It has happened to me that I’ve merged blocks together and accidentally broke existing references without noticing it. I think it would have been very useful if I had gotten a warning, otherwise, it becomes easy to break things.

Do you have the permission to merge posts like Ed Nico did? It seems there’s a way that automatically merges votes and replies.
