What does the default "favorites.md" do?

  • When a new graph is created, the “favorites.md” will automatically be created along with contents.md.
  • I couldn’t find any connection between the favorites.md and the “Favorites” section on the left sidebar.

Question:

Does favorites.md have any unique functionalities compared to the functionalities of markdown files created by user?
If not, why is it automatically created?

No idea but I don’t think it’s something important

I think it might be a legacy feature from before the favorites in left sidebar was implemented. Its just a regular MD file created by default, like contents.md.
